Another demonstration of ‘hot knife through butter’ critical thinking. I don’t have much time these days, but I’m happy to have your essays to enjoy when I do.

On a related note, there is an excellent book on the balance between selfishness and cooperation that’s really comprehensive and well worth reading. It’s called “SuperCooperators: Altruism, Evolution, and Why We Need Each Other to Succeed”. I recommend it.

Your view of China relies on US-controlled media which has demonstrably and repeatedly lied ‘big’ lies. In other words, US-controlled media is completely unreliable. Thus, your observations are deeply flawed.

There are good and bad people everywhere. The point is to look at the system under which they operate. Does the system make it easy to do good or bad? The US system incentivizes the most awful in all people while the Chinese system, while far from perfect, is much, much better. To use Bruce Lee inspired imagery, if humans were water and systems need to support them, then the US system is a sieve while the Chinese system is a leaky pipe.

Will people in the US get this message? Will they act on it? The US media has already dehumanized us. Aside from a tiny few, nothing will change in the US and no one will act. I think the only hope for the rest of the world is for this empire to fall. The rise of China heralds a new system. Will the current tyrant allow it or will it end in a nuclear Armageddon?
