Doesn't JavaDoc do most of these things and in a less obtrusive way? You don't need to compile into javascript and you have more flexibility. In any case, I use Vue and your response resonated and also the API comment. However, JavaDoc alleviates those problems. Does TypeScript provide a 'killer' service that JavaDoc cannot reasonably fulfill?
