I believe this shift to ‘peace’ is due to the rare earth and minerals ban imposed by China. A few days ago, China announced a Tungsten ban and a month and a half before that, Magnesium among others. Without Tungsten and Magnesium, most munitions are impossible to produce. Tungsten, in particular, is also essential for civilian manufacturing. That’s why Trump is talking so much about minerals and mining. Some of those may be available in abundance in Canada, Greenland and Ukraine. But it’s not so simple. The path to initial production can take years assuming perfect conditions. More importantly, the technology to filter the ores to sufficient purity is purely Chinese which is the only country to invest in it heavily for the last 50 years! The game is over unless there is a nuclear war. All that remains are the death throes of this evil beast of an empire.
