Your rule-based order is really nothing but whatever the US says must happen. Otherwise, every US President since World War II should have been tried and convicted as a war criminal and the US ostracized and condemned for starting ‘preemptive’ wars of aggression.

By contrast, China has strived for peaceful resolutions everywhere. The recent ‘peace’ agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia demonstrates what everyone is now saying “US bombs, China builds”. And it’s a very well-deserved saying.
