The US follows the special golden rule of whomever has the gold makes the rules. It is by far the most controlled media in the world but by the ultra-rich rather than the government who also control your government. As few as 3 conglomerates own all the TV stations, radio stations and press, perhaps less nowadays than when I lived in the US. In the US, people are highly brainwashed and, as Orwell would say, they don’t even know they’re slaves. They are less than ignorant because they are intentionally misinformed and need to unlearn the lies before they may free themselves. In that regards, the illusion of voting for Twiddledee rather than Twiddledum making any difference is part of the wool on your eyes and makes you in a worse condition than dictatorship. You have to rid yourself of the security blankee and grow up if you dare. Of particular note is that the US Psyops had a budget of over $20 billion about 25 years ago when I lived in the US and watched CSPAN (funnily and expectedly , no one else I knew did). As Snowden noted, the US powers-that-be have no qualms pointing weapons of spying and disinformation internally. That means there is plenty of money for armies of agents on internet sites to respond to real descriptions of the US to keep the media-opium going in their people.
As for the Chinese government ‘failing’ like Dilbert’s depiction of US companies, the evidence indicates otherwise. Even in technology, the Australian Strategic Policy Institute ASPI recently found that China leads in 37 out of 44 critical technologies. China never had a recession in the last 50 years and consequently its economy became a superpower and is by far the foremost in industry and infrastructure, including technological industry. It would be the first in the world economy if it were not for the domination of the dollar by violence. It is already the first in PPP terms.
In any case, the only reason the US got its technological lead is because of its vampiric brain drain of countries it destroys (myself as an exhibit). People generally prefer to stand behind the cannon and the US has its cannons pointed almost everywhere. The US has staged coups in way too many countries (e.g. Ukraine, Iran, Argentina …) and today sanctions (a euphemism for war siege) 39 countries. Albright declared that killing half a million children by starvation using its war siege (sanctions) was ‘worth it’. Of course, the US demonizes other countries beforehand to maintain the illusion of goodness to people such as yourself.
Some years ago, the CBO did a study for the ‘war’ committee in the US and found that every military system in the US has critical components in its supply chain in China. Today, the US leads only in its military. However, it cannot go to conventional war against China because of this supply chain problem. That is why it is important for people like you to stop your oligarchs because the confrontation they are pushing for is nuclear. Organize and unite with your fellows and do a socialist revolution for the good of the US and the rest of humanity … at least you’ll get medical.
