The biggest problem in human societies now and in the past is the insufficient or even lack of negative feedback on those who make decisions. I don’t mean elected officials but the CEOs, owners and billionaires. To them, people are obstacles to be surmounted or tools to be used with themselves, their families and friends safely tucked away.

Long term, the system has to change so that persistent power with positive feedback doesn’t exist. Short term, the only way out is having negative feedback directly on the decision makers.
