The digital Yuen is in the background. It has been tested in China and in one other country, Myanmar. It is backed by the country that manufactures almost one third of all stuff and the largest producer of wheat. The digital Yuen is the natural successor to the SWIFT system.

The reason it hasn’t been deployed internationally is that China knows the US would immediately go to war, possibly nuclear, over this. China has been biding its time and that time may be very near.
