While I do find the other items as incongruous as you do, I disagree with point 6 concerning Covid vaccines given to children. Both me and wife and everyone in my family older than 20 got vaccinated (2 shots) for the Covid. However, we decided not to vaccinate our 12 year old just yet (my 29 year old boy and 25 year old daughter did get the vaccine). As you may know, Covid vaccines have only been approved for emergency use and have not gone through the 7 to 10 year process for safety testing (there just wasn't enough time).

The risk from Covid is much lower (exponentially so as the data shows) the younger you are. Therefore, the decision to vaccinate younger children rests on estimating the difference between 2 potentially low and highly uncertain risks. Reasonable minds can reach different conclusions in such a case.

BTW, I am Lebanese and opinions and attitudes vary widely in Lebanon.
