You ignore facts of genocide, massacres and exploitation by the US, but insist “there is no good way to know”. You admit media control in the US but insist “things are more honest here”. You’re skeptical of statistics but trust that you ‘know’. As Yoda would say “totally brainwashed are you”.

“White man’s burden” summarizes your view of western ‘contribution’. Any empire, no matter how evil, will amass enough resources through colonization and exploitation to show some accomplishments. When I was at MIT, about 40 years ago, 60% of PhD’s were Asian. ‘Foreigners’ were the creative engine and wars and atrocities sown by the US throughout the world is what made the conditions that allowed the US to reap the brain drain from other countries. Indeed, the world would have been much, much better without so-called western civilization.
